Theatre Road Trip / Dance Love Trip captures the intimate story of husband and wife dancers Lívia MM Balážová and Zebastián Méndez Marín.
Lívia comes from Slovakia and Zebastián from Costa Rica. Their paths crossed in Belgium, where they were both part of the international group Ultima Vez, with which they traveled around the world. This was followed by a move to Costa Rica and finally to Slovakia, where they currently live.
Theatre Road Trip / Dance Love Trip captures the intimate story of husband and wife dancers Lívia MM Balážová and Zebastián Méndez Marín. By sharing their personal experiences, they explore themes of migration, identity, and finding one’s place in the world.
What is it like to balance the need to move to another country, language, and mentality with preserving the integrity of one’s own world? How can one not lose oneself on this journey?
