Dance and Movement Courses

Every year we open dance classes for the public.

We welcome children from 4 years old to adults. Through movement and creative games, children learn about dance. Adult classes focus on floor work and improvisational techniques. Courses are divided into two semesters, winter and summer. At the end of each semester, members of the courses can participate in a public event Skaderuka, skadenoha, where we show off the work we have done during the 5 months.

More about the courses

Courses for younger children

Through movement and creative games, children are introduced to dance. Their natural dancing ability is awakened, individual expression is encouraged, and the principles of play, word and movement are combined.

Courses for older children

In class, the teacher works with children’s natural movement, music, words and rhythm. She gradually incorporates contemporary dance principles such as floor work, dance variations and improvisation, socialising the children in the group and encouraging their personality.

Courses for teenagers

Improvisational as well as technical exercises are used to develop movement skills.

Yoga / Pilates with Cindy

In everyday life, we can accumulate tension in our bodies that we don’t know about until we feel pain.

In these classes, Cindy combines elements of yoga and pilates in an effective combination. The yoga area includes a series of physical postures, breath control techniques and meditation, while Pilates focuses on strengthening core muscles, improving posture and increasing overall body strength and flexibility.

The course will allow practitioners to immerse themselves in both worlds simultaneously and heal physically and mentally from post-traumatic pain symptoms.

Cindy will guide you through a variety of mat exercises to help you develop strength, flexibility and body awareness.

Open to all levels.

What should you bring?
Comfortable clothing, water bottle. We will provide the mats. You will be barefoot.

Each participant is entitled to 2 promo (= free) tickets for selected performances.
