I Lost My Body – Coming Home is a contemporary dance duet by Eunjeong Oh and Jack Strömberg, dedicated to the search for home, memory, relationships and the invisible emotional weight we carry through life. The work invites the audience on a journey in which the body becomes a place of memories, unspoken words, unfulfilled gestures and questions about where, and with whom, we feel at home.

The artists work with the image of luggage as a metaphor for the layers we bring with us from different periods of life, relationships and environments. On stage, bags and backpacks become carriers of memory, weight, identity and transformation. Their gradual setting down, unpacking and shifting opens up questions of what we carry with us protects us, what burdens us, and what we need to share with others.

Through movement, partnering, falling, tenderness, silence and musical layers, an intimate stage statement about human closeness emerges.
On stage, two performers carry one another, allow themselves to be carried, support each other and confront each other. The work therefore asks not only what home is and where we search for it, but also whom we carry in life, who carries us, and whom we allow to become part of our journey.
